[SOLVED] Antique Store
West Main Gallery: Antiques and more It was a sunny Wednesday as the blazing sun is shining through the window of the antique store on the West Main Gallery located on the West Main Street. I was going to interview the employee or the owner of the store, but it never happened. This would have been a great experience if I could get an interview done. I went to the store anyways and took notes of what I saw and also the employee did not want to do the interview. Antique stores are all around the world and they tend to catch peoples eyes and people are fond of buying things. People typically buy things that will be necessary and not have their money wasted over the item they purchase which are not needed. Me and my grandpa like history a lot and the closest ways to see history for this assignment would be either the museum or the antique store, which in this case I had to pick antique store because the museum was kind of far away. So, I visited my local antique store on Wednesday. Before I even enter the antique store there were already some items that were kept outside for people to see like the American Flag made out of a wooden pallet. The Antique store had variety of different kind of stuff like Radios, religious books, chairs, furniture. There were some kind of miniature statues, sofa and table dish set. There were also some pictures from years ago hung on the wall to the back of the store. There were paintings for sale with the pictures which included only nature and animals in it. As soon as I entered the store was surprisingly quiet and very peaceful. It was not like your typical Walmart store. The first thing I ever noticed when I walked around the store was that every ancient item kept in that store was nicely put up and presented well with organization and also, they were very clean. The second things were that the prices they were sold at normal rates unlike the ones that are sold on amazon and other websites. I work at a hotel as a front desk receptionist and at the hotel they had couple item that they bought from the antique store. They also host a food truck on every Saturday in the parking lot area and the people would visit the store after they eat their food, and this is also a great way to promote your store. When I meet Kim Taylor, the owner and a worker of the store, I would have described her if I would have met her. The questions below are the one I would have asked personally when I meet her. 1.
