[SOLVED] Informational New Article

Not the 800-word story. As we head toward the first exam next week, reflect on our content to this point: the three chapters in the Sanford text, the first chapter of the Lips text, the three Orienting Question readings, and our class discussions. Now, imagine that you are writing an informational news article for this class and each one of the authors/or class discussions is an expert that you have personally interviewed on Zoom. Write the article which summarizes your “sources.” Tell your story in as few words as necessary. The only limit on your work is that it cannot exceed 800 words. Write creatively, using as many of our terms/theories/people/positions as possible. Make up quotes as you desire (just be sure to “attribute” the quote to someone). Enjoy explaining our content to your readers! Think of this as an open free write assignment in which you write as a reporter who files a story on a recent event (e.g., you talked to the authors, they said…). Enjoy writing more freely than typical in academic papers. Use your imagination to create an event where these authors/writers/ideas were begin discussed and report on the big takeaway points.
