Structural Inequality in Metropolitan AreasThere are many ways in which institutional policies create and reinforce structural inequality in metropolitan and urban areas, resulting in residential segregation, marginalized groups and unequal access to resources. There are a number of ways in which these groups resist and call attention to the oppression. Choose one of the policies, programs or actions listed below and write an essay (approximately 500 words) that describes the policy, program or action and explains how it either creates, reinforces or responds to structural racism. You are expected to utilize at least three sources in preparing your essay. You can use chapters/articles from the course textbook, or from the library, or other external sources.
