There are many reasons why a company should pay attention to their reputation as it relates to their future vendor relations and product supply costs and availability. Complete the following: Discuss why it is important for organizations to manage their reputation by answering the following questions:  What impact could a poor quality product have on a company?  How does reputation help a company to be more competitive?  How do you think a company can improve their vendor and customer relations?  Summarize 3 examples of what goes into the reputation of a company.  Be sure to include your required references, and format your submission in APA format. Note:  As we focus on customer delivery we must maintain high levels of quality.  Poor quality can not only drive customers to our competitors but in worst case situations that can at times cause harm to customers.   Quality should be as much about safety, our company’s reputation, and continual improvement.  Quality should be driven through our entire value chain – starting with our customer engagement model and extending to our supplier relationships.  Reputation goes beyond the marketing / sales pitch and how we position the company in the consumer’s eyes, it’s about whether we deliver on our promises – including cost, quality, delivery, and overall satisfaction.   Focus your response on specific examples of what goes into reputation – beyond the obvious.  Use examples from companies you have worked for or research and find examples.
